Daniel Vinson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development, technical support, and sales engineering. Currently, as a Staff Software Engineer at Merit since October 2019, Daniel focuses on creating an exceptional user experience for users issued merits, utilizing technologies like functional Scala, GraphQL, React, and Kubernetes. Prior roles include significant contributions at Synapse Technology Corporation as a Software Engineer, leading on-site deployments and training across three continents, and working on cloud software for IP security cameras at VIAAS, Inc. Daniel also held positions at Barracuda Networks, where responsibilities spanned technical sales and support, enhancing customer experiences with IP security camera products. Early career experiences include roles in technical support and product testing in various organizations, laying a solid foundation in troubleshooting and software development. Daniel graduated from San Jose State University in 2012.
