Hannah Burke

Hannah Burke is the current Vice President of Government at Merit. Hannah has held various positions in politics and campaigning, most recently as the Chief of Staff at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative from April 2017 to July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Finance Director for O'Malley for President from May 2015 to April 2016, and before that as Field Director for Airbnb from May 2014 to August 2014. From November 2016 to January 2017, they were the Chief of Staff to the Mayor-elect, and from March 2016 to November 2016 they served as Campaign Manager for Levar Stoney for Mayor. Burke began their career in politics as a fundraiser for Governor Martin O'Malley's PAC in January 2014, before moving on to become Deputy Field Director for McCord for Governor in January 2014. Hannah then became a Field Organizer for Terry McAuliffe for Governor from May 2013 to November 2013, and finally a Field Organizer for Mandel for Controller from March 2013 to May 2013.

Hannah Burke completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of York. Hannah then completed a Certificate in Financial Accounting at Harvard Business School Online. Finally, they completed a Filmmaking Diploma at the New York Film Academy.

Their manager is Trevor Cornwell, President, Government Affairs.
