Şafak Denizci

Şafak Denizci has over 25 years of work experience in the finance industry. Şafak is currently the Executive Vice President of Finance at Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK) since March 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Strategy & Business Development at MKK starting from March 2020. Before joining MKK, Denizci worked at Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası as the Treasury Sales Vice President from July 2012 to March 2020. Şafak also held the position of Hazine Pazarlama ve Finansal Çözümler - Yönetmen at Garanti BBVA from September 2008 to April 2012. Prior to that, they worked as the Hazine Müdür Yardımcısı at Raymond James from June 2006 to September 2008. Denizci gained significant experience at ING, where they served as the Hazine Pazarlama Yönetmen from August 1998 to June 2006. Şafak started their career at Toprakbank as a Hazine Pazarlama Yetkilisi from June 1996 to July 1998. Additionally, Denizci briefly worked as an Analyst at Gedik Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. from February 1996 to June 1996.

Şafak Denizci attended Hayrullah Kefoğlu Lisesi from 1986 to 1989, where they received their undergraduate degree in Mathematics. Following this, they enrolled in Istanbul Technical University from 1990 to 1995, majoring in İşletme Mühendisliği (Industrial Engineering) and achieving a degree with a GPA of 6.82.
