Dr. Rachit Agarwal

Dr. Rachit Agarwal has held a variety of roles in the field of data science and analytics. In 2022, they began working as the Associate Director of Data Science and Analytics for Merkle Science. Prior to this, they were an External Collaborator and Research Engineer for Inria from 2014-2019, a Senior Researcher/Engineer for the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 2019-2022, a Visiting Faculty for FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2017-2018, a Visiting Faculty for the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines from 2016-2017, a PhD student at TELECOM SudParis from 2010-2016, a Senior Research Associate for the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 2009-2010, and a Software Developer for the Red Bull Racing Team from 2008-2009.

Dr. Rachit Agarwal has a varied educational background. Dr. Rachit received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Dynamic Networks, Complex Systems, Big dataset, Self Organization, and Device to Device Communication from both Pierre and Marie Curie University and Télécom SudParis between 2010 and 2013. In 2012, they completed a Certificate Course in Complex Systems at the Summer School of NECSI, MIT, and a Certificate course in Network Science at the Winter school of IISC Bangalore. In 2006, they received their MS in computer networks from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Rachit also obtained their IT from Jaypee University of Information Technology between 2002 and 2006.
