Ryan Bullock

Ryan Bullock is a seasoned backup and recovery engineer with a robust background in managing complex NetBackup environments. Currently serving as a Senior Backup and Recovery Engineer at Merkle since November 2013, Ryan oversees the design and operations of global NetBackup systems, ensuring continuous data backup and evaluating new technologies. Prior to Merkle, Ryan worked as a NetBackup Engineer at TerpSys from August 2010 to November 2013, where responsibilities included managing multiple NetBackup domains and a varied infrastructure of servers and tape libraries. Earlier experience includes a role as a Junior UNIX Systems Administrator at Catapult Technology from October 2005 to March 2010, focusing on system monitoring and event logging for a data center with approximately 200 UNIX servers. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Computer Science and Engineering from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Networking/Information Systems Security from Westwood College - Denver North.
