Andy Kim

Andy Kim is an experienced industrial designer currently serving as Industrial Designer II at Merkury Innovations since September 2018, where responsibilities include leading projects from concept to production, conducting user and market research, and collaborating with engineers and manufacturing partners. Prior roles include Industrial Designer I at Merkury Innovations, alongside freelance positions at ATLASON and Piotrworks, where Andy contributed to urgent projects and team brainstorming sessions. A former Wood Shop Monitor at Pratt Institute, Andy ensured a safe working environment and assisted shop visitors, as well as served as an instructor at Van Art Studio, mentoring students in portfolio preparation. Andy Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Product Design from Pratt Institute, earned in 2017.
