Brad Martin has worked in the software engineering field since 2003. Brad began their career at Garmin International as a Software Engineer, where they wrote low-level hardware drivers and RF data processing pipeline for the GWX 68 weather radar, the GTS 8XX TCAS system, and the GWX 7x weather radar, and was software team lead on the latter. In 2009, they moved to Jaybridge Robotics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on software for autonomous off-road vehicles, primarily agricultural and mining equipment. In 2016, they joined Toyota Research Institute as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the software platform team for TRI's self-driving car project. In 2020, they began working at Merlin Labs as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineering Consultant at an autonomous aircraft start-up company.
Brad Martin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2003. Brad also obtained the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in April 2019.
