Natalija Ulemek

Natalija Ulemek has over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Natalija started their career in 2011 as a Technical Recruiter at Brine Group, where they quickly rose to become a Lead Level Recruiter and achieved the highest billings in one quarter. In 2013, they joined Skillcycle as a Senior Technical Recruiter and was a consistent top performer. In 2014, they joined Rakuten as a Recruiting Manager for Engineering, where they were responsible for managing a small team of technical recruiters and talent acquisition for the US technology division. In 2018, they moved to Deputy as the Director of Recruiting for AMER and EMEA, where they established the Global recruitment strategy and built the process, team and systems that enabled them to go from zero to hiring 200+ employees per year in less than 12 months. In 2020, they joined Thrasio as the Director of Talent Acquisition, where they built a recruiting machine and led a team of 18 recruiters to hire 1000 employees in one year. In the same year, they also founded Themis, an executive search company. Currently, they are the VP of Talent at Merlin Labs.

Natalija Ulemek graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and International Affairs.
