Robert (Bob) Voros has over 23 years of experience in the aviation industry. Robert (Bob) began their career in 1998 as an Associate Design Engineer at Cessna Aircraft Company, which was later renamed Textron Aviation in 2014. During their time at Cessna, Bob held various roles such as Engineer Specialist/Lead - Development Assurance Team, Engineer Specialist - Flight Control Systems, Functional Black Belt, Sr. Engineer - Flight Controls, and Design Engineer. In their role as Engineer Specialist/Lead - Development Assurance Team, Bob facilitated the creation and implementation of the Development Assurance Processes in alignment with ARP4754A for new Textron Aviation products. Robert (Bob) also established program specific process planning which described the application of the Textron Aviation Development Assurance processes. In 2014, Bob moved to Textron Aviation where they held the roles of Engineering Process Manager, Regulatory Compliance Lead - Development Assurance & System Safety, and Engineer Specialist/Lead - Development Assurance Team. In 2021, Bob began working at Merlin Labs as a System Safety Manager.
Robert (Bob) Voros obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1998. Robert (Bob) also holds certifications from Textron Six Sigma, including a DFSS Black Belt obtained in 2008 and a DFSS Green Belt obtained in 2006. Additionally, they hold an Organization Designation Authorization - Unit Member - Part 23 Flight Controls from Textron Aviation Organization Designation Authorization, which they obtained in March 2009.
