Cynthia Su

Cynthia is a driven entrepreneur who possesses a unique ability to develop and manage new products in nationwide corporations and emerging start-ups.

She played a key role in helping TELUS, a leading telecommunications and technology company in Canada, enter the Home Security and Automation market, Consumer Health market, and Internet of Things market. Cynthia led the development and support of some of the most complex products and services in the organization, including the Apple Watch series, the Samsung Galaxy smartwatches, a smart tracker, home security and automation, fall detection and personal alerts, and Wi-Fi Calling (Voice over Wi-Fi).

Cynthia also provided emerging start-ups in Vancouver, B.C. access to mentorship, investors, funding, and other resources to help them become stable, self-sufficient businesses. By combining her passion for people, business and technology, Cynthia has earned numerous accolades, including Top 25 Under 25 and Project Leader of the Year.

She previously co-founded Orello Hearing Technologies, a health technology start-up that made hearing healthcare more affordable and accessible for people living with hearing impairment. Orello earned 1st place in the Hong Kong-Canada Investment Pitch Competition, 1st place in a Venture Prize Competition, and 2nd place in the Entrepreneur’s Organization GSEA competition.

Cynthia received her Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors from Simon Fraser University, specializing in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Management Information Systems. She is a sports-enthusiast, a real estate investor, and an avid traveller. A fun fact is that Cynthia has travelled to 27 states - all but four by car.
