Matthew Hurewitz

Matthew Hurewitz is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Platforms and Application Security at Best Buy, where responsibilities include developing an integrated architecture and assessment practice in a multi-channel retail environment. Previous positions at Best Buy include Associate Director of Application Security and Security Architecture, as well as Senior Manager of Security Architecture and Application Security. In addition, Matthew leads the development of IoT platforms for Best Buy’s Geek Squad, enhancing customer support through innovative technology. As an investor and advisor, Matthew is involved with multiple companies, including Tenvos AI, ZEST Security, and Glilot Capital Partners, and holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
