Alberto Ortega Socorro

Alberto Ortega Socorro has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Alberto is currently working at Merlyn Mind as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at GMV as a Technical Lead in Software Product Development for Intelligent Transportation Systems. Their responsibilities included technical leadership of the Agile team developing a suite of software products for public transportation systems. Alberto also worked at Huawei Technologies as a Master Architect, and at Ericsson as a Java Lead Developer. At Ericsson, they were involved in the development of a real-time event monitoring system and the Sync Node use case. Before that, they worked at GMV in various roles, including Software Architect and Software Engineer. Alberto played a key role in developing a geographically redundant platform for a telco operator and led several development projects for telecommunications operators. Alberto Ortega Socorro completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de La Laguna from 1996 to 1999. Alberto then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1999 to 2002.
