Yasi Afsharnive

Yasi Afsharnive has a diverse range of work experience. From 2019 to present, Yasi has worked at Merlyn Mind, first as a Products Specialist from July 2019 to December 2020, then as a Product Manager from December 2019 to April 2023, and currently holds the position of Senior Product Manager. Yasi also has experience as a Yoga Instructor at CorePower Yoga since February 2022. Previously, Yasi worked as a Corps Member for Teach For America from June 2017 to June 2019. Yasi also gained political experience as an Intern for Congresswoman Barbara Lee at the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2017 to May 2017, and as an Intern for Senator Dianne Feinstein at the United States Senate from May 2016 to August 2016. Additionally, Yasi has worked as a Communications Intern at the National Association of Workforce Boards in 2015 and as a Marketing Intern and Campus Ambassador at Uguru.me from August 2014 to December 2014.

Yasi Afsharnive obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Urban Education and Leadership at Loyola Marymount University, which they completed between 2017 and 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Yasi Afsharnive obtained several certifications. In October 2021, they completed the "Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals" certification program offered by the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Yasi received their "Introduction to Scrum Master Training" certification from Coursera in April 2022. Lastly, in February 2022, they obtained a Level I Yoga Instructor Certification from CorePower Yoga.
