Vijay Kumar

Vijay Kumar has extensive work experience in 3D artistry, specializing in game and mobile game development. Vijay most recently worked as a Lead 3D Artist at Merri, where they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of 3D Artist at the same company from June 2022 to September 2022. Before joining Merri, Vijay was a full-time 3D Freelancer, working for himself on various projects from November 2019 to May 2022. Prior to freelancing, they were a 3D Artist at AWAX from June 2018 to November 2019. Vijay also worked as a 3D Game Artist at SmartVizX from August 2016 to April 2018, and as a 3D Game Artist at ChicMic from December 2013 to July 2016, where they focused on character and environment modeling and texturing for mobile games. Vijay began their career at Sunovatech in November 2011 as a 3D Artist and later transitioned to the role of 3D Game Environment Artist in May 2012, before leaving the company in July 2013. Throughout their career, Vijay has utilized Autodesk Maya for low poly asset creation, modeling, and UV mapping.

Vijay Kumar completed their B.Sc degree in Animation from Karnataka State Open University from 2008 to 2011.
