Doug Finch P.e.

Doug Finch, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience as a Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer. Doug started their career at Versar in 2000, where they held the role of Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer until 2003. Doug then joined Alliance Engineering in 2003 and served as the Newport News Project Manager until 2022. Currently, Doug is working at Merrick & Company as a Project Manager, starting in February 2022.

Doug Finch, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School from 1976 to 1980, specializing in Pipefitting. In addition to their educational background, Doug Finch has acquired the certification of Professional Engineer (PE) from the Commonwealth of Virginia in January 1999.
