Sachin Shinde

Sachin Shinde has extensive work experience in the IT industry, starting in 2002. Sachin began their career as a Software Engineer at Zee Interactive, where they developed customized e-learning simulations and conducted training for a team of over 20 people. Sachin then moved on to Hurix Systems Pvt. Ltd., where they worked as a Graphic Engineer responsible for developing highly interactive e-learning applications and robust components.

In 2004, Sachin joined Tata Interactive Systems as a Software Engineer, leading a team of six members and developing an e-learning project for the Government of UK. Following this, they worked at Inspired Gaming Group UK as a Senior Developer, where they worked on various gaming projects and managed the entire front-end development process.

Sachin then became a Senior Developer at Gamesys, where they developed and managed social applications and games, implementing client-server communication strategies using various technologies. Sachin later joined IG Group as an Agile Senior Developer, working on projects related to complex event processing, real-time financial alerting, and market analysis for spread beating and other financial services.

From 2017 to 2018, Sachin worked at Williams Lea Tag as a Software Architect Technical Lead, responsible for managing the architecture and development of the WLT DAM platform and overseeing its migration to the AWS cloud.

Most recently, Sachin has been employed at Datasite as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. Prior to this role, they served as a Software Engineering Manager. In these roles, they led and managed software engineering teams, contributing to the development of high-demanding Java J2EE web applications.

Starting in 2022, Sachin will take on the role of Director of Engineering at American Express. In this position, they will lead two significant portfolios in the Amex Payment Network, delivering scalable modern services and infrastructure to support the exponential growth of Amex globally. Sachin will also oversee top talents and managers to align business and technology.

Sachin Shinde completed their Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree in Computer Applications from Madurai Kamaraj University, from the year 2000 to 2003. Sachin later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Information Systems (PgDBIS) from the Association of Business Executive, from 2005 to 2006. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computing and IT Management from the University of Gloucestershire, from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Sachin Shinde has also earned certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Sachin obtained the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services in April 2018. Furthermore, they completed the "Management Excellence at Microsoft: Model, Coach, Care" certification through LinkedIn in July 2022.
