Lisa O'brien

Lisa O'Brien is an accomplished academic and educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Reading/Language Arts at Merrimack College since September 2018. With extensive experience at Boston University since 2008, roles have included Research Associate and Lecturer, contributing to curriculum development that incorporates technology in literacy instruction, as well as collaborating on online courses. Lisa O'Brien has held positions as an Adjunct Faculty member at various institutions and has substantial teaching experience in K-4 education as a Reading Specialist and Literacy Coach. In addition to a Doctorate in Language and Literacy from Boston University, educational credentials include a Master's in Reading and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Psychology.
