Dara Richardson-Heron M.D.

Dara Richardson-Heron M.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles. In 2008, they served as the Chief Executive Officer for Susan G. Komen Greater NYC, where they provided strategic direction, managed a large budget, and exceeded organizational goals. From 2012 to 2017, Richardson-Heron was the Chief Executive Officer of YWCA USA, leading transformative change and overseeing various teams and services. Dara then joined The National Institutes of Health as the Chief Engagement Officer and Scientific Executive for the All of Us Research Program, responsible for designing and implementing a nationwide research study. Dara Richardson-Heron M.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Barnard College in 1985. Dara then pursued further education at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where they earned a Doctorate in Medicine from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they continued their studies at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 1989 to 1992.
