Adam Poulin-Kerstien

Vice President, Intellectual Property at Mersana Therapeutics

Adam Poulin-Kerstien, J.D., Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property and law. Adam is currently serving as the Vice President of Intellectual Property at Mersana Therapeutics since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of General Counsel at Dyno Therapeutics from February 2021 to July 2023, and also served as the Vice President and Head of Intellectual Property during this time.

Before joining Dyno Therapeutics, Adam worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as the Global Franchise Head for Respiratory Disease and Neuroscience from January 2018 to February 2021. Adam also held the role of Patent Attorney II at Novartis from October 2014 to December 2017.

Adam has prior experience as an Associate at Bingham McCutchen from April 2013 to October 2014, and at DLA Piper from September 2010 to April 2013. Adam also served as an Associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP from August 2009 to September 2010.

Additionally, Adam worked as a Technical Specialist at Hogan Lovells from 2007 to 2009, and as an Associate at Mitchell Madison Group from 2005 to 2006.

Adam Poulin-Kerstien, J.D., Ph.D., completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Amherst College from 1996 to 2000. Adam then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at Caltech from 2000 to 2005. Later, Adam attended the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 2006 to 2009.
