Robert Burger

Vice President, Clinical Development at Mersana Therapeutics

Robert Burger has extensive work experience in the field of gynecologic oncology. Robert is currently employed at Mersana Therapeutics, where they serve as the Vice President of Clinical Development and previously worked as a Senior Medical Director. Prior to this, they held positions at Genentech as the Principal Medical Director and at the University of Pennsylvania as a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Robert also worked at Fox Chase Cancer Center as a Professor of Gynecologic Oncology and Director of the Women's Cancer Center. Robert Burger has been actively involved in patient care, research, teaching, and administration throughout their career.

Robert Burger attended The Frederick Gunn School from 1977 to 1980. Robert then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemistry from Harvard University from 1980 to 1984. Following that, they attended New York University from 1984 to 1988 and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine.
