Dan Hudspeth

Dan Hudspeth has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Dan is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Mersive Technologies since May 2018. Previously, they worked as the President at Scaling Up CFO, providing contract CFO services to technology companies. During this time, they successfully managed a sell-side M&A engagement, implemented tax reduction strategies, developed financial forecasts, and led financial due diligence processes.

Dan also served as the Regional Managing Director at vcfo, where they created marketing plans, developed business relationships, and managed a team of CFOs and finance professionals. Before that, they held various senior finance positions at different technology companies, including a VC backed SaaS Software Company and a PE backed international microdisplay company, where they completed significant financing deals and handled crisis scenarios.

Earlier in their career, Dan worked at Deloitte & Touche as a Manager. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership throughout their professional journey.

Dan Hudspeth earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a major in Accounting from Colorado State University. Dan attended this institution from 1981 to 1985. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
