Matthew Davies

Matthew Davies is an experienced educator and employment advisor with a diverse background in ICT, computer science, and recruitment services. Currently a Teacher of ICT and Computer Science at Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council since August 2018, Matthew also serves as a Pre Employment Tutor for the Inspire 2 Work Project, assisting young individuals in securing education, employment, or training through various support methods. Previous roles include Senior Secondary Account Manager at Valley Education Services, Employment Advisor at Remploy Ltd, and ICT & Business Development Manager at Venture Wales, highlighting a strong focus on recruitment, educational support, and business development. Matthew holds a PGCE in Secondary ICT from Swansea University and a BSc in Information Systems with Business from the University of South Wales, along with a BTech in Business & Finance from Merthyr Tydfil College.
