Matthew Griffiths

Matthew Griffiths has extensive experience in data and business analytics, holding multiple roles at Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council since 2011, including Data and Business Analytics Officer, Change Management Officer, Project Officer, and Business Services Support Assistant. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Cricket Coach at Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre, where skills in batting, bowling, and fielding for junior cricket were developed. Additional roles at the leisure center included Administrative Assistant, where Matthew created trackers in Microsoft Excel and databases in Microsoft Access for the GP Referral scheme, as well as Receptionist and Lifeguard. Matthew's educational background includes a Foundation Degree in Computing and a Level 2 AAT Qualification in Accounting from Merthyr Tydfil College, as well as a degree as an Advanced Sports and Nutrition Advisor from the Health and Science Academy.
