Jaakko Poutamo

Jaakko Poutamo is a Sales Manager at Merus Power, responsible for BESS project sales in Finland and Europe since June 2021. Previously, Jaakko held roles as Regional Sales Manager and Sales Engineer for Central and Southern Europe, focusing on the company's product portfolio, including active harmonic filters and STATCOMs. Prior experience includes various positions at Valmet, including Project Engineer for Energy Spare Parts and Energy Spare Part Sales Trainee, as well as customer service roles at DNA Kauppa Oy and K-Market Winterinmutka. Jaakko Poutamo holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Process Engineering from Tampere University and has completed exchange studies in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
