Terri L. Phillips M.D., Faap

Terri L. Phillips MD FAAP has extensive work experience in the medical field. Terri L. currently holds the position of Chief Medical Affairs Officer at Merz Aesthetics since February 2020. Prior to this, they served as Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs at Merz Aesthetics from January 2018 to February 2020. Terri has also worked at Santen as Vice President of Global Medical Affairs from 2015 to 2018. Before that, they worked as a Neonatologist at Howard County General Hospital from 2002 to 2015. Additionally, they have held various positions at Scientific Commercialization, NPS Pharmaceuticals, and Allergan. Terri started their career in 1982 as a Major in the Medical Corps of the US Army and later worked as a Teaching Fellow at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Terri L. also served as the Medical Director of Neonatology Associates PC at SHADY GROVE ADVENTIST HOSPITAL FOUNDATION INC from 1996 to 2002.

Terri L. Phillips MD FAAP has a diverse education history. Terri L. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Bennett College. Terri L. then earned their Medical Doctor (MD) degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. Following that, Terri completed their Pediatrics Residency at Emory University School of Medicine. Terri L. further pursued a Fellowship in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine at the Uniformed Services University. Terri is currently an MPH Candidate at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health. Terri L. is also certified as a Diplomate by the National Board of Medical Examiners and holds the FAAP - Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
