Dr. Marcel Rauer

Dr. Marcel Rauer currently serves as a Medical Expert in Global Clinical Science at Merz Therapeutics since March 2023. Previously, Dr. Rauer completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt am Main from February 2022 to February 2023, following an Anesthesiology residency at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster between October 2020 and December 2021. Earlier experience includes a medical internship at Hirslanden's Emergency Department in 2019, as well as roles at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Royal Perth Hospital focusing on research and neurology, respectively. Dr. Rauer holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Münster, completed training as a research trainee at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and has a robust educational foundation in medicine.
