James Hopp

James Hopp, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compensation and financial analysis. Currently serving as Director of Global Total Compensation & Rewards at Merz since January 2020, James previously held the role of Manager - Incentive Compensation at Merz North America from December 2015 to January 2020, focusing on plan design and effectiveness analysis. Prior to that, James worked as Manager of Business Analysis at Salix Pharmaceuticals, managing incentive compensation payouts and reporting. James began a long tenure at Nortel Networks in 1999, progressing through various finance roles over eleven years, including Compensation Analyst and Sr. Financial Analyst. James holds a BS in Accounting from North Carolina State University and an MBA in Financial Planning and Services from Jones International University.
