Mallika Ramakrishnan

Mallika Ramakrishnan has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research and project management. Mallika currently works as a Project Lead at Merz Therapeutics starting from February 2023. Prior to this, Mallika served as a Program Manager and Scientist at CureVac from October 2018 to February 2023. Mallika also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Chemotherapeutisches Forschungszentrum "Georg-Speyer-Haus" from November 2013 to September 2018. Mallika gained research experience as a Research Associate and Doctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Immunology from July 2007 to January 2013. Mallika started their career as a Project Trainee at the National Center for Cell Sciences in February 2007.

Mallika Ramakrishnan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Tumor microenvironment, which they obtained from the National Institute of Immunology between 2007 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Madras from 2005 to 2007. Mallika's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Zoology from Madras Christian College, where they studied from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Mallika has obtained several certifications. In April 2022, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In May 2019, they earned the Basiszertifikat im Projectmanagement from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e. V. Furthermore, Mallika completed the Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials course from Coursera in August 2017.
