Nick Steinmetz has a diverse work experience in the education field. Nick started their career as a Secondary Mathematics & Social Studies Teacher, Teacher Mentor & Coach at The American School Foundation of Guadalajara in 2009. Nick then worked as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher & Coach at Denver Public Schools from 2012 to 2013. Nick joined Aurora Public Schools in 2013 and served as an Educational Technology Coach and later as a Personalized Learning Specialist. In 2017, they completed a school administration internship at William Smith High School and became a Google Certified Trainer. In 2018, they joined Jeffco Public Schools as an Educational Technology and Personalized Learning Specialist, and later became an Assistant Principal. Nick Steinmetz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Metropolitan State University of Denver, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Nick then pursued a Master's Degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Colorado Denver from 2003 to 2005. In 2017 and 2018, they obtained an Administrator Licensure in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Colorado State University Global.
