Daniel Harrington

Daniel Harrington has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Daniel started their career as an Industrial Placement Student at BMT Defence Services Ltd, where they conducted research and wrote a technical paper on a Lead-acid cell model. Daniel then interned at THE APPLETON SCHOOL ACADEMY TRUST as a Science Teaching Intern, teaching science to students and designing a course to bridge the gap between mathematics and physics. Daniel also worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Ipeco.

Daniel's professional journey continued at Kubrick Group, where they worked as a Data Engineer. Daniel underwent an intensive training course to learn various data engineering technologies and skills, and later utilized these skills in large data pipelining projects for clients. Daniel then joined Mars as a Senior Data Engineer, contributing to data-related projects.

Most recently, Daniel is employed as a Senior Data Consultant at Mesh-AI, a global consultancy focused on transforming enterprises into data-driven and AI-enabled organizations. The company is backed by Columbia Capital and has a commitment of $30m for global growth and scalability.

Throughout their work experience, Daniel has demonstrated a strong interest and proficiency in data engineering and has acquired skills in SQL, database design, Python, machine learning, cloud technologies, Spark, Databricks, and Azure Devops. Daniel has also gained teaching experience and has showcased their ability to design and deliver effective educational content.

Daniel Harrington pursued their higher education at the University of Bath from 2014 to 2019. Daniel completed an Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (MEng) degree during this period.
