Mitra Nair

Mitra Nair is a seasoned professional with expertise in biomedical sciences and significant experience in research and development. Currently serving as Co-Founder and President of the Board of Directors at the Foundation for the Localization and Innovation of Global Health Technologies (F.L.I.G.H.T.) since August 2022, Mitra also holds the position of Research Scientist at Mesoblast Limited, focusing on mesenchymal lineage cell product characterization and regulatory compliance in GMP settings. Previous roles include Research Engineer at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where Mitra led the development of flow cytometry assays and ensured adherence to quality control standards, and Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to oncolytic viral therapy research.
