Matthew R. Verst

Matt began his career at Messer in 2000 in operations after earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky the previous year. After several years, he accepted a role in the Cost Planning & Estimating department. Matt is responsible for guiding and developing the department. He also leads the overall preconstruction process, developing cost estimates, guaranteed maximum prices, constructability reviews, value analysis, preliminary schedules, and phasing plans. He achieves this by coordinating the efforts of Messer's in-house estimating, scheduling, and engineering departments.

Matt is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators. Matt's engagement in the community includes being on the board of directors for Jolly Park Community Development Council and has served on the council's Master Plan Committee.​
