Robert L. Williams

Before moving to Raleigh in 2017, Bob served as vice president and region leader of Messer’s Lexington office and operations, a role he held since 2007. Under his leadership, Messer completed the largest student housing P3 development program in the U.S. with Education Realty Trust (EdR) at the University of Kentucky, while at the same time completing some of the most complex higher education and health care work in the company’s footprint. Bob began his career with Messer in 1991 as a project engineer and over the course of his 27-year tenure has taken on increasing responsibilities and oversight for construction project operations and performance. Bob is a graduate of Purdue University and holds an MBA from the University of Kentucky. He is focused on establishing Messer’s presence in Raleigh and growing the business through the development of long-term relationships and investment in the community.
