Ryan Hoerst

VP, Cost Planning & Estimating at Messer

Ryan began his career at Messer in 2001 upon graduating from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. In his current role as Cost Planning & Estimating Vice President, Ryan leads the estimating efforts for Messer’s northern regions. His experience includes preconstruction management, cost planning, and estimating expertise for Health Care, Higher Education, Science and Technology, and other facilities. Ryan has been an integral part of working with key market clients such as The Ohio State University, Mount Carmel Health, Miami University, DePauw University, Indiana University Health, Cincinnati Children’s, Xavier University, and the University of Cincinnati, assisting them with developing long-term master plans and in turn establishing Messer as their contractor of choice.

Ryan is the past president of the Greater Miami Valley Chapter of the American Concrete Institute, currently serves as an executive board member with the Harrison Mayor’s Fund, and is an active member of the Butler County 4-H and Agricultural Society.​
