Matthias Loehr

Matthias Loehr has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matthias began their career as a Steuerfachangestellter at Schoenmüller & Partner from May 2001 to May 2002. After that, they joined Messer Cutting Systems and held various positions over the years. Matthias started as a Sachbearbeiter Controlling from June 2002 to June 2013 before being promoted to Stellvertretender Leiter Rechnungswesen & Controlling from July 2013 to May 2017. Matthias then took on the role of Financial Support MCS Global (EU, US, CH, IN) from February 2017 onwards. In June 2017, they became the Deputy CFO Europe (Stellvertretende Leitung CFO Europe) until August 2018. Matthias continued their growth within the company and became the Chief Financial Officer Europe in September 2018. Their current position is CFO Global, which they assumed in January 2022.

Matthias Loehr's education history includes obtaining a Certificate of Graduation from MEC Academy, where they studied various subjects such as History of MEC, Sales & Marketing, Planning & Logistics, Finance, and Strategy, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Studiengemeinschaft Darmstadt GmbH from 2008 to 2012 and earned a degree in Geprüfter Betriebswirt SGD (Certified Business Economist). In 2004 to 2005, Matthias Loehr studied Controlling and received a Fachkraft Controlling (Controlling Specialist) certification from IHK Darmstadt.
