Alain Berset

Alain Berset is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership, strategy development, and organizational management across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Mestel Ltd since January 2024, Alain oversees R&D, sales, and manufacturing, while fostering a performance-driven culture. As Vice President and Board Member of CCIF since September 2020 and as a member of the Swiss National Bank committee for Fribourg-Vaud-Valais since September 2018, Alain contributes to defining strategic visions. Prior roles include Chief Business Officer, CEO, and Head of Business Unit at Polytype Ltd from 2008 to 2024, and leadership positions at various companies including RAJSHREE POLYPACK and INNOSQUARE. Alain holds an eMBA from the School of Management in Fribourg & Bern and a mechanical engineering degree from the School of Engineering in Fribourg.
