Jesper Stenberg

Head of Product at Mestro

Jesper Stenberg has a diverse range of work experience. Jesper started their career in 2013 as a Global Marketing Manager for the South Korean start-up company JJS Media Co., Ltd., where they focused on the product MyMusicTaste and contributed to the ideation and product development process.

In 2014, Jesper worked as a Research Assistant at Uppsala University, where they conducted research projects related to smart grids and end-user behavior. Jesper also mentored students and held lectures in qualitative and quantitative methods.

From 2016 to 2017, Jesper worked as a Field Officer for RISE Emerging Markets, a research institute in Sweden. In this role, they were based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and focused on identifying opportunities and building a network for long-term research collaborations. Jesper also developed projects aimed at addressing food, water, and energy supply issues in low-income areas.

In 2017, Jesper joined Mestro as a Project Manager, responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients and successful implementation of their software. Jesper also led the innovation program to drive Mestro's future success.

Later, Jesper held the position of Product Owner at Mestro, where they made tactical product decisions based on the product strategy. Jesper implemented agile work methods to improve product development and managed the product backlog more efficiently.

Currently, Jesper is the Head of Product at Mestro, where they are in charge of the vision and roadmap for all of their products. Jesper works with a team to execute the product strategy, which is developed through identifying market needs and building business cases for implementation in an agile workflow.

Jesper Stenberg began their education at Uppsala University in 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. After that, they went on to study International Business at Yonsei University from 2012 to 2013. During this time, they did not obtain a degree. Jesper then returned to Uppsala University and completed their education with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from 2011 to 2013.
