Aidan McGivern

Aidan McGivern has extensive experience in meteorology and broadcasting, currently serving as a Senior Presenter at the Met Office since October 2007. Over the years at the Met Office, Aidan has held various roles, including Broadcast Media Account Manager, Senior Operational Meteorologist, Marine Offshore Consultant Meteorologist, and Weather Forecaster. Between July 2013 and December 2016, Aidan worked as a Weather Presenter at ITV. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Geography from The University of Edinburgh, a Master of Science in Applied Meteorology and Climatology from the University of Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from The Open University, currently on hold.
