Stephen Clifford

Stephen Clifford serves as the Lead IT Service Manager at the Met Office since November 2023. Previously, Stephen held various roles at the University of Exeter from August 2016 to October 2023, including IT Vendor and Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Software Administrator. Stephen's career began at The Direct Connection Ltd as a Support Engineer, followed by positions at Netscalibur UK as Systems Co-ordinator and Project Manager, and The Crown Prosecution Service as Head of e-Communications, where project management responsibilities were undertaken. Additional experience includes serving as a Forester at Bidwells and as a Customer Support Engineer at Eclipse Internet, providing support for a range of customer needs. Stephen holds an MSc in Environmental Forestry from Bangor University and a BA in Geography from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
