Filippo Santi

Thermofluids Analyst at Meta System

Filippo Santi's work experience starts in 2010 as a kitchen porter at Nando's South Africa, where they improved their ability to work in a stressful environment. In 2015, they worked as a student researcher at FPML, focusing on fluid power for mechatronics. In 2018, Filippo joined Meta System SpA as an R&D Simulation Engineer, developing an OpenModelica simulation library for an automotive blower controller. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Tecfluid srl as a Mechatronics Design Engineer, integrating and customizing electro-hydraulic systems. In 2020, they moved on to become a Research and Development Engineer at Tecfluid srl, working on the analysis, development, and optimization of prototypes. Filippo returned to Meta System SpA in 2021 as an HW Power Electronic Engineer, where they focused on electrical power tests and problem solving. In 2022, they transitioned into the role of a Thermofluids Analyst at Meta System SpA, specializing in cooling chamber analysis and optimization.

Filippo Santi pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting from high school and progressing to higher degrees. From 2004 to 2011, they attended I.T.I.S. L. Nobili in Reggio Emilia, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology. Following this, they enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering between 2011 and 2015. Continuing their academic journey, they then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university, which they completed from 2015 to 2018.
