Aleksey Fadeev

Aleksey Fadeev is a seasoned data science and engineering leader with extensive experience in high-impact roles. Currently serving as Senior Director at Meta since December 2013, Aleksey leads a team focused on enhancing the privacy and security of communication platforms across Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer at Ingeonix, Aleksey co-founded the startup and secured $2 million in funding, demonstrating innovative technical capabilities through hardware and software development. Aleksey's background includes a role as a Computer Vision Scientist at Charles River Laboratories, where significant advancements were made in machine learning applications, and academic contributions as a Research Assistant at the University of Louisville, culminating in a PhD in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Aleksey also holds a Master's degree in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Perm State Technical University.
