Amira Bliss

Government Social Impact Partnerships Global Program Manager

Amira Bliss, EMPA, has a professional background that includes a significant tenure in social impact and policy analysis. From December 2006 to September 2010, Amira served as the Assistant Director at the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy at Columbia University. Following this role, Amira was the Associate Director at The Rockefeller Foundation, where responsibilities included strategic grantmaking aimed at addressing global challenges. Since May 2018, Amira has been a Global Program Manager for Government & Social Impact Partnerships at Meta, leading initiatives focused on equity and inclusion among teen audiences. In addition, Amira has contributed as a Board Member for Empower Generation and Pollinate Energy, supporting enterprises that tackle energy poverty and empower marginalized communities. Amira holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Barnard College and an EMPA in International Economic Policy & Management from Columbia University.
