Christy began as a Customer Care Consultant in Technical Support and later advanced to an HR Specialist at AOL. Following a brief tenure as a Personnel Supervisor at Express Personnel Services, Christy transitioned to self-employment as a Privacy Consultant. Notably, Christy served as the Privacy Program Manager at FireEye, Inc. before becoming the Director of Technology & Privacy Research at The Future of Privacy Forum. Currently, Christy holds the position of Privacy Policy Manager at Meta, showcasing a strong commitment to privacy initiatives throughout a diverse career.
