Dave Sterling

Dave Sterling is an experienced materials engineer specializing in polymers and composites, currently serving as a Senior Materials Innovation Engineer at Meta since April 2020. At Meta, Dave leads the development of innovative and environmentally friendly materials for virtual reality and augmented reality applications. Prior to this role, Dave worked at Boeing for seven years, where responsibilities included developing materials and processes for aircraft interiors and serving as a subject matter expert in thermoplastics. Earlier experience at RTP Company involved managing application development projects in the defense and aerospace sectors. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Composite Materials Engineering from Winona State University.
