Dave Thomsen

Dave Thomsen is a seasoned product design leader with extensive experience in driving innovative design solutions and product strategies. Currently serving as Product Design Director at Meta since 2015, Dave has previously held roles including Product Design Manager at the same company, Principal Product Designer at Nextdoor, Inc., and VP of Product & Design at Wanderful Media. At Nextdoor, Dave significantly improved the Events platform, achieving a 50% increase in event volume. With a strong foundation in human-centered design, demonstrated through an adjunct professorship at Stanford University, Dave also brings expertise from IDEO, where leadership in cross-functional design teams enhanced product innovation. Previous roles at NBCOlympics.com, Yahoo!, and Quokka Sports further showcase a diverse background in digital media and sports coverage.
