Dony George

Dony George is a seasoned software engineer and engineering manager with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions across various platforms. At GRE Guru, Dony created a mobile application to aid GRE vocabulary preparation. Subsequent roles at Meta included software engineering, where Dony contributed to systems-level projects involving camera and video processing, and later served as Tech Lead Manager overseeing teams in image processing and performance optimizations. Dony also completed an internship at LinkedIn, contributing to the Unified Social Content Platform. Currently, as a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta, Dony leads engineering teams focused on building the Augmented Reality Platform for multiple social media applications. Academically, Dony holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.E. in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
