Geoffrey Beamish

Geoffrey Beamish is a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since January 2022 and serves as an Associate Instructor for the Data Science course at BrainStation, where instruction focuses on Python fundamentals, Data Visualization, Predictive Modelling, Classification, and Model Validation. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at The Home Depot, where Geoffrey contributed to machine learning model training and developed model-serving infrastructure using Flask on GCP. Geoffrey also worked as a Python Data Engineer at Askuity, significantly improving internal application reliability and creating scalable ETL pipelines. Previous positions include MES Programmer Analyst at Callisto Integration and a Student Researcher at The Woodbridge Group. Geoffrey earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Guelph between 2013 and 2017.
