Jason Potticary

Jason Potticary is a seasoned materials scientist with a diverse background in education, research, and music. With experience as a Teacher of Chemistry at Bodmin Science Academy, Jason has also held significant positions including Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol, where research focused on pharmaceutical crystallization and the development of nanowires as part of advanced materials projects. Previous roles include Co-owner and producer at Sentinel Studios, Senior technician at Eurofins, and Research Lead at Deep, contributing to novel subsea technology. Currently, Jason works as a Materials Scientist at Meta, focusing on the discovery and design of next-generation industrial materials. Jason holds a PGCE in Secondary Science, a PhD in Nanoscience/Functional Materials from the University of Bristol, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool.
