Kerkil Choi

Kerkil Choi is an accomplished software engineer with a strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and image processing. With extensive experience at Meta as a Software Engineer and Team Lead in Contextual AI, Kerkil has built products for wearables. Prior roles include serving as an AI Lead and Principal AI Scientist at Dishcraft Robotics, where solutions for intelligent robot operations were developed, and as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Jaunt VR, focusing on computational photography and optimization for virtual reality. Kerkil was also a Senior Research Scientist at Butterfly Network, specializing in real-time processing and imaging algorithms. Kerkil holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in the same field from the University of Florida.
