Martin Patterson

Martin Patterson is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the Technical Lead for Infrastructure at Meta since May 2019. With a robust background in systems engineering, Martin has previously held pivotal positions including Director of Capacity Engineering and Analysis at Facebook and Senior Engineering Director at Google, where responsibilities encompassed support for internal and cloud storage systems. Martin's earlier roles include Vice President of Software at Violin Memory, Vice President of Engineering at Gear6, and Director of Engineering at Sun Microsystems, among others. Co-founding Terraspring, a pioneering company in data center virtualization, further highlights Martin's innovative contributions to the tech industry. Martin obtained a B.Sc. with First Class Honors in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast.
